讓人愉悅的感覺像煙火一樣在大樓的高度盛開，藝術家將這一瞬間的光、繽紛的色彩和看到後忍不住微笑回應的可愛圖騰，攀附在富邦金融中心的外牆帷幕，將未來一整年對於這座城市的祝福與期願高掛。Gordon Wiebe 加拿大籍。作品充滿特殊的拼貼與用色，人物影戲劇性的表情與肢體，吸引各個年齡層觀者的心弦，透過剪紙和拼貼的創作方式，藝術家將各種情緒，如幽默、戲劇、愉悅、憂鬱等不同情感圖像化，作品經常出現在廣告、雜誌和報紙，因充滿藝術性的用色才華，在多位提案人中脫穎而出，為台北百年的紀念時刻，留下璀璨的笑容與煙火祝福。
富邦金融中心，是位於台北都心仁愛路上的知名建築物，在富邦金控贊助無牆美術館展出模式時，以自身的建築物外牆成為，台北城首件最為具型的藝術貼圖大樓，文化局經年以「文化藝術地標」為目給予補助，讓台北市充滿了藝術的能見度與風情。

It is the artist’s hope that these beaming, cheerful faces of Joy Explosion! will inspire happiness in all who look upon it, and the smiles of these viewers inspire all those that they come in to contact with to smile as well. On the glass wall of this well-know landmark of Taipei, we celebrate the Centennial with festive lights and colors.
Gordon Wiebe lives and works in Toronto, Canada. Humor, drama, joy and the melancholic all make an appearance in his work. Because of his exceptional talents, Wiebe’s brilliant and joyful proposal stands out among many, and now his work delivers the artist’s best wishes for the city.
