蕭筑方的創作中常出現人物頭像彩繪。她認為不論是握手寒喧、眼神交流等，人與人之間的所有溝通行為皆外化於臉部表徵，除了流露細微的表情，更顯現出無數個精密腦細胞的思考。「頭像」，便是如此含蓋了人與人之間所有微妙的情感交流，深層表達出每個個體中，各自內心的想法。在 MINI CIRCUS ( 原 MINI KID’S) 童裝店外部牆面上，蕭筑方運用壓克力顏料彩繪上不同的塗鴉頭像，以孩童的純真與各種不同「人」的面貌進行趣味性呼應，試圖呈現出不同個體中最真實的面貌。
Shiao Chu-Fang’s art is often filled with paintings of people’s heads. She believes that whether it is two people shaking hands and exchanging courtesies or glances, all communication between people is written in facial expressions. This reveals not onlythe detailed expressions but also the consideration of an infinite number of precise brain cells . “Portraits” also include the ambiguous exchange of feelings between people, expressing the inner ideas of each individual. The artist produces graffiti portraits in acrylic paint on the wall of MINI CIRCUS(former MINI KID’S) children’s apparel store. Together with childhood innocence and the appearance of different “people” these create an interesting contrast in an attempt to show what is real among all individuals.
