| 徐揚聰藉由回復初始手工的人性表達，用簡單的工具與繁複的手工，將一般人所熟知的廉價塑膠製品─如菜藍、座椅、碗籠 等 ，重組切割為抽象唯美的立體雕塑，反應出對物質文明中大量製造、快速拋棄的消費麻痺。作品融合燈光效果，營造出色型繽紛如萬花筒的空間場域，呈現心靈流通的環境氛圍，不但打斷人們生活中慣有的物質意義，也反思當代消費文化品味與美感塑造的另一層議題。 |

Hsu Yang-Cong returns to the humanistic expression of early handicraft work using simple tools and complex handicraft techniques. He reassembles inexpensive plastic objects we all recognize such as baskets, chairs, and bowls, into abstract three dimensional sculptures. This act is intended to reflect the mass production, rapid disposal, and consumer apathy of the materialistic culture. This work combines light effects, creating an area filled with a kaleidoscope of color. It also showcases a spiritual flow that not only breaks from the materialism of people’s lives but also reflects on subjects such as the creation of taste and aesthetics in modern consumer culture.
