敦化南路的林蔭穿越於繁華忙碌的台北東區，透過樹木的植栽，為城市帶來綠洲般的視覺效果，也成為城市呼吸的窗口。蔡芷芬藉由這些座落於城市中的林蔭綠地，來創造一個與自然共同脈動的「花海迷宮」。作品以杜鵑花海的意象，透過粉紅色調的壓克力纖維穿梭林蔭間，型塑一個以都市綠帶為基地的迷宮，並藉由媒材之間自行有機結合成的意像，展現都會方寸之間生息不已的狀態。
Tree-covered Dunhua South Road crossess the prosperous eastern district of Taipei city. At the same time, these plantations creates a green oasis in an urban desert, which becomes a natural window for local residents. Tsai Chih-Fen uses these lush green areas in the city to create “Flower Sea Maze” ( 花海迷宮 ), a work that resonates with nature. This piece takes the image of a sea of azaleas and sows pink acrylic fiber through the greenery, forming a maze on the strip of green that runs through the city. This idea of natural organic combination between media highlights the vital beating heart at the center of the city.
