侯怡亭讓自己的身體消失於一片黑暗的空間裡,以發光的假髮、假睫毛、網襪等來勾勒出身體輪廓的位置,同時伴隨著電子音樂,無意識的擺動肢體。乍看之下,彷彿音樂就是操控身體的魁儡線,以節奏來支撐的身體,遊走在一種不在乎的狀態下,呈現出迷幻文化中的精神與肢體狀態,使主體拉鋸在真實與虛幻妄想的感官經驗中,對究竟誰才是主導者這樣的問題提出了反思 ! 而此錄像展出在街頭潮流店,正呼應出一種次文化態度的表達。
Hou Yih-Ting makes her own body disappear in a dark space using a luminescent wig, false eyelashes, and fishnet stockings to depict the outlines of a shape. The performance is also accompanied by electronic music and the unconscious movement of the limbs. It almost appears as if the music controls the body with puppet strings, which, when supported by this rhythm, roams around in a devil-may-care sort of way. It showcases the spiritual and physical condition of the drug culture. The motif goes back and forth between the perceptual experience of reality and fantasy paranoia, reflecting on questions such as who is in control of the scenario. This fashionable store’s video display represents an echo of the sub-culture attitude.
