燒肉店對藝術家而言,不論就味覺或視覺的消費印象,都是一種充滿對「牛」所轉化的印象情感。彷彿來自一種食物能量與情感能量間的禮貌性交換,做為同樣是都市人的藝術家以遊走某些特定都會空間的體驗與刺激經驗來探索這過程中的一種情感層面的深掘,將超現實的想像以突兀的空間裝置,轉化人們對於親切感與熱情的基本需求,同時也探討一個都會商業消費空間如何在城市巷弄中產生移情作用。
For the artist, the barbeque restaurant is full of images relating to cows, whether it’s a sense of taste or of vision. This is almost like a polite exchange between food and emotional energy. As an urban resident, the artist makes use of his experience and excitement by wandering around certain urban spaces and by exploring the process. To this end, he takes surrealist imagination and spatial installations, transforming people’s basic demands with regards to a sense of intimacy and passion. He also explains how an urban commercial consumer space in the back streets of a city creates emotional empathy.
