簡介
喜歡以「動物」作為創作主題的藝術家陳佑而，將自己對於動物們的情感與懷念轉化為永恆的紀念物。她採用天然的生漆為材料，以類似製作與擺放標本的方式，試圖保存記憶中和動物們之間最親密的連結，並以呈現動物最美好的模樣，來轉移失去生命中重要事物的悲傷。
除了記錄心目中動物們美好的樣貌，陳佑而的創作中還有一系列結合人類與動物的雕塑，例如《Reason To Stay》這件作品中，當她所創作的人類和動物們同時以類似標本的狀態呈現，藉由軀體相連、眼神交換、或並肩而立等等互動，彼此之間產生了一種沒有言語的對話關係，拼湊出兩者共生共存的和諧模樣。

Yu-Erh Chen likes to base her works on animals, and creates sculptures to eternalize her relationships with them. Using lacquer as her medium, Chen creates specimen-like sculptures that show her intimate link to these animals; she presents them at their best to make up for a sense of loss.
Chen also creates a series of sculptures that combines humans and animals, such as Reason to Stay. The humans and animals presented are either connected physically, exchanging expressions, or standing side by side. This creates a dialogue that requires no language and focuses instead on their harmonious coexistence.
