法國藝術家Séverin Millet有源源不絕的創造力，創作橫跨平面與立體，而《人間浮世繪》正是他雕塑作品的代表。
樣貌各異的角色，造型上隱約可見非洲與美國原住民圖騰取材，同時融入藝術家對於人群的觀察：有些特質是全人類共通的、當然有更多各人而異的獨特性，形形色色的人們各自活躍於屬於自己的舞台，共同組成這多采多姿的世界，而藝術家也特別表示不希望一一點明角色分別代表什麼性格，而是留給觀眾自行想像、與自我生命經驗連結。
富邦人壽大樓的戶外廣場，一直是個充滿魅力的舞台，從1999年開始，相繼邀請多位國內外當代藝術家輪番上陣，透過這處可親的廣場，讓藝術與民眾近距離對話；像似一個臨時藝術遊樂場，拉近人與人的關係，也舒活了緊繃的都市神經。
French artist Séverin Millet is a master of creativity, making art that transcends a simple surface to a three-dimensional realm, with The Composites being his most representative sculptural artwork by far.
With a variety of designs and personalities, The Composite at first glance seems to reference African Fetish and Kachina dolls. However, Millet has also put his own stamp onto his artwork, with each sculpture representing his outlook on humanity and the individuality of artists in which they live. Each doll has its own personality and individual character, yet all live together in a colorful and exciting world. Asked what personality each sculpture is given, Millet says he does not want to pinpoint exactly which sculpture represents what, but encourages the viewers to use their own imaginations and creativity to enjoy his artwork.
The plaza outside the Fubon Life Building has been popular since 1999, when it first became a platform for local artists and those invited from abroad to showcase their artworks. The approachable plaza is an ideal place for people to interact with art. The place resembles a temporary playground that pulls people closer together and eases the stress in urban life.
