...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

XIE XIE,
Artist Pin-Tong Huang uses infant-like figures to represent the child in every person. By awakening that inner child, you will see the world with a whole new perspective, as ordinary things become extraordinary and life becomes more colorful.
The three pieces personify the ocean, flowers, and trees, and strive to capture various feelings in life: being on the brink of the unknown, waiting amidst a process, and how an ending is also a beginning. Life is temporary, thus making each moment all the more precious; through her artwork, Huang encourages her viewers to slow down and truly appreciate every sweet detail in life.
In Mandarin, “xie xie” means “Thank you”. But XIE XIE is also the tea for the best moments in life. Easy to prepare, it requires no complicated rituals to show that there is nothing complicated in obtaining the very best of teas. It offers a simple, modern way of drinking tea; every cup is a pure moment of pleasure and a stimulant for your senses.
